SMS Opt-In Process

To receive important text message updates from On The Way Rides, users must provide their mobile phone number and actively consent during account registration.

The screenshots below show the registration process and the SMS consent checkbox presented to riders and drivers before creating an account. Consent is obtained through an unchecked checkbox that users must voluntarily select. SMS messages are used only for transactional purposes, including ride requests, ride status updates, driver arrival notifications, verification codes, account security alerts, and customer support.

Users may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message.
